Home Blog Company News Shore Hire’s New Head Office Featured by The Local Project
Shore Hire is excited to share that our new head office was featured in a video by The Local Project, an elite architecture and design publication.
Evolve Constructions, in collaboration with H&E Architects, created and designed the office, which is a 60-year-old industrial building. Innerspace, a furniture design company, also played an integral part in the building, supplying or custom-designing all of the furniture.
Luke Geelan, Shore Hire’s Managing Director, is featured in the video, saying, “ We had a really amazing collaboration from day one with Innerspace, H&E Architects, and Evolve Construction.”
“All those three teams worked really well together to make sure that the furniture was going to match the feel of the building, which was going to match the construction, and when you walk through you’ll see that it’s worked out beautifully,” he said.
One of the interesting things about the construction works that was featured in the video was the decision to retain the industrial heritage of the building by keeping the original beams, exposed brick, and metal elements, while also adding ‘Shore Hire’ additions, like one of our MAPS Shoring Boxes made of our aluminium panels.
“The proudest part of the build for me is how much my staff are loving coming to work in a nice open office, free flowing airflow with some great breakout spaces and some functionality that they really love,” Luke said.
